Throughout the month of January, we have been talking all about the interesting new book adaptions. We hope with baited breath that Annihilation, Crazy Rich Asians, and Ready Player One will be as good of movie adaptations as the likes of The Shining, Harry Pottery, and The Silence of the Lambs. That isn’t always the case though. To close out January’s theme, we wanted to celebrate some of the not-so-great, meh and downright terrible movie adaptions by composing a little trailer.

Final Book of The Month: Ready Player One

Growing up, I watched a bunch of weirdly awesome anime while reading a bunch of spooky mystery titles. So, your guess is as good as mine as to why I’ve never read Ready Player One. Truthfully, I’ve been grappling with reading Ready Player One for about six years? The 2011 New York times bestseller had author Ernst Cline is really pulling out all the stops: Lo-fi dystopian sci-fi, poverty-sad boy narrative, a mystical fortune, video games!
